Barrage Balloon (only offered 1939) is in excellent fully-inflated condition with all original strings leading to dark green winch which sits on 1st version Square Nose Boxed #1641 Underslung Lorry, white treaded tires on outside but all lead wheels on inner axle positions (indicating wartime rubber shortage issue 1939). Balloon nose has had small repair. Lorry & winch condition is very good. #1641 illustrated box is good condition. #1749 box lid label, end label & set instructions have been framed to go with this set. Incredibly rare in this condition.
