Interesting lot of (57) different snapshot photographs taken and printed by photographer Mel Bailey who traveled to Japan, Canada, Spring Training, etc to take photographs of baseball players. He would sell them in early hobby publications and even produced some minor league card sets. What is interesting about this collection is that it features players in uniforms for which they are not normally seen for example Steve Hamilton with the Washington Senators, George Brunet with the Baltimore Orioles, etc. No Hall of Famers, but most are people you will recognize that put in several seasons. Each player is identified on the back. 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Fine condition.
