CARRA CARLO: (1881-1966) Italian Painter. A leading early 20th century figure of the Futurist movement. A good A.L.S., `Carlo Carra´, one page, small 4to, Forte dei Marmi, 29th August 1929, on the Ambrosiano newspaper attractive printed stationery, to Giuseppe Bertocchi, in Italian. A friendly message to his correspondent and colleague, Carra stating in part `I will be delighted to see you here in my ''summer workshop'' and to resume with you the discussionon painting which was cut short with your departure from Milan. You, dear Bertocchi, will not disturb me at all.´ further explaining Bertocchi how to reach him, saying `The train that comes from Viareggio stops now right in front of the avenue that leads to my cottage.
