Description
Very rare souvenir of Virgin Mary carved in piece of wood by Polish POW during his captivity in POW camp XIII-A in 1940. Engraved on the reverse of the wooden piece we can read "Kania Jozef Polish prisioner of POW XIII-A 1940". It also has a hanger to hang on the wall. It was common that prisoners during their free time made this kind of souvenir or memento using their craftmanship. Item is in very good condition, and it's of high quality.
