This cotton 1910's tumbling blocks quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with nice early 20th century gingham plaid and shirting fabrics. It measures 68" X 84" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. There is quilting around the piecework and in straight line and triangle designs that enhance the tumbling block design, all at an even 8-10 stitches to the inch. stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is pink, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
