Item Details

Description

2 books from the former scientific library of the infamous I.G. Farbenindustrie factory in KL Auschwitz III-Monowitz. Buna Werke. Both books deal with scientific subjects. One is "Fluoreszenz und Chemischer Konstitution" by Dr. Hugo Kauffmann and the other one is "Handbuch der Katalyse". Both books were recovered from the Dwory factory that belonged to Polish government until the 90's. This hydrocarbon manufacturer took all the facilities and factories that Nazis built and they functioned until the 90's, when all closed and all was abandoned. All the books from libraty were recovered and sold. All the books come with the ink stamp of Auschwitz Factory of the IG Farbenindustrie AG scientific library. A "been there" item!
