Offered in this lot are four different handbills that are related to the Grateful Dead. First is a handbill for the Avalon Ballroom known as AOR 2.24. The image, known as “Aoxomoxoa,” is one of the defining images of the psychedelic poster art genre. Next is a second print card designed by Andrew Elias, known as AOR 4.230. It's an intriguing flyer that advertised a January 20, 1979 Grateful Dead show at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo New York. Third is a flyer designed by the great Rick Griffin. It was used to promote the 1974 Robert Hunter Album "Tales Of The Great Rum Runners". Finally, there is a 1995 Grateful Dead Summer Tour handbill. This was the last tour of the Grateful Dead before Jerry Garcia's death.
