An impressive George III antique solid silver cup & cover featuring a beautiful embellished exterior. The cup has a pair of leaf decorated handles, each a pair of intertwined branches. The handles join a detailed applied vine, grape and leaf band around the top of the body of the trophy. The body of the trophy and dome of the lid are decorated with chased leaf patterns. The trophy stands on a wide spread foot.
Made in London in 1812 by Richard Sibley.
