Marilyn Monroe's Personally Owned Double-Strand Black Bead Necklace Acquired from Kent Warner W/Letter of Provenance - This double strand necklace is comprised of diamond cut black beads and was personally owned by iconic American actress, Marilyn Monroe. The necklace was acquired by a collector from Hollywood costumer Kent Warner, who worked for MGM Studios and is known for 'liberating' props such as the iconic ruby red slippers of "The Wizard of Oz" and Humphrey Bogart's trench coat from "Casablanca". The necklace will be accompanied by a typeset letter of provenance signed by Warner and dated '6/17/1980' which states in part, "We became very friendly and when she found out that I collected items from all of the celebrities I worked with, she gave me this black diamond cut black bead double strand necklace from her personal wardrobe to add to my collection."
