Chaim Gross (1902-1991) was born on March 17, 1902 in Austria. He came to the United States in 1921 and studied at the Beaux-Arts Insitiute of Design with Elie Nadelman and at the Art Students league. He taught at the Educational Alliance, one of his students was Louise Nevelson. His works are in collection of many museums across the US.
