Handwritten financial ledger for the "John Patten", a ship likely built in Bath, Maine by George F. and John Patten, shipbuilders. The ship sailed regularly from Bath and Boston to England and to San Francisco. There are also entries from South America and the Caribbean.
Condition
Spine disintegrating, both hinges cracked, some offsetting and toning to pages; overall very good.
