78x100 cm (30¾x39¼"), matted, color printed map.
Pictorial map drawn by Harold Grieve, a costume, set, and art designer who worked on films such as Ben Hur, The Thief of Baghdad, and others. In 1932, he married actress Jetta Goudal, whose house is marked in manuscript on this map. Both would go on to work as interior designers to such stars as Mary Pickford, Bing Crosby, and others. Grieve is also well known for creating actress Colleen Moore's Dollhouse, which is currently on display at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. Map is signed by Grieve under the title, and dated 1980.
Condition
Some folds and tears, toning, matted; overall very good.
