A Chinese famille verte rouleau vase. 19th centuryDecorated with birds and flowering branches in two large rectangular cartouches flanked by two pairs of medallions depicting birds, fish, a lion and a landscape; all on a chrysanthemum and red scroll ground, shoulder with a diaper band containing cartouches enclosing precious objects, the neck with key-fret and ruyi-head bands; the neck with geometric patterned borders above and below a landscape and floral scene.
