This Sabre Monarch 171 Solingen Germany Original Bowie Knife Measures 11 ¼” = 29 in length. The blade measures 6 ½” = 17 cm.The knife has a 4 pins scales stag handle and aluminum pommel. Aluminum pommel retained by a small brass nut used to tighten the handle. Knife and Stag would be in Excellent condition if it had been stored right. It appears to have the original edge never sharpened but has some oxidation on blade that needs to be polished out. Solid with no loose parts. It comes with a Leather Sheath which some of the top threads have been broken (shown in photo). Sheath has a brass ram closure.
