Wonderful form and wonderful color/surface on this Art Deco Elephant Nutcracker, dating from the 1920s. Heavy (almost 4 pounds) and solid, if you donÂ’t want to crack nuts with it, the elephant would make a classy doorstop. 9 ¾Â” from tip of the trunk to the back leg and 4 ½Â” high (1 ¾Â” thick at the head), the elephant has a nice gently warn surface, big metal button eyes and a bit of its tail remaining. There are no cracks or breaks or rust and the trunk opens and closes smoothly. Shipping weight will be about 6 pounds
