Vintage 1930's-1940's Blue Crystal Beaded Necklace, 16". The beads range from 5-12mm and have a honeycomb facet cut. They could be Czech glass/crystal by the age but not certain. They have a six-sided 1/2" housing for a plunger clasp. Both the plunger and the housing test as 10kt G.F. The housing does have some finish wear. The beads are also slightly worn on some of the cuts but still very nice especially as they are at least 80 years old. They are on double cord and I believe that these were restrung from their original state but do appear to have been strong professionally and with the original clasp. These came from a PA estate sale and I'd still classify them as good condition - maybe slightly higher, given their age. It does appear as possibly something was marked on the V-like plunger but I cannot make that out. See photos. (Lot. Loc. W.1.2817.5) L.D. 2/2/17
