Lot of five medals from the Heraldic Art series, that was created to replace the commemorative half dollars. Each medal is .925 silver and weighs 0.7 oz. 1 & 2) 1959 St. Lawrence Seaway (medallion III); 3) 1962 U.S.S. Constitution 1812 (medallion XI); 4) 1966 "Great Eastern" (medallion XXIII); 5) Winfield Scott (medallion XXIV). Robert McNamara made the "Heraldic Art Medals", in his garage in Cleveland, Ohio between 1959 and 1978. There were 60 different medals made.
