Description
Russian school miniature portrait, watercolor on ivory. Subject is a gentleman with gray hair and beard dressed in a suit, with green background, framed in decorative gold-tone frame. Signed G. Burger lower left. Note inside miniature reads: " Russian G. Burger painter, owned by Leonard G. Morrell died Feb 1971. Owned by Arnold Schmid thereafter." Excellent condition. 2-3/16" W x 3-1/8" H. Russian, circa 1900. Provenance: Pigeon Forge, TN Collection.
