McIlvaine A41a. The third full length novel of the Blandings Castle Saga, after "Something Fresh" (1915) and "Leave it to Psmith" (1923). Originally serialized in the UK in The Pall Mall Magazine between March and August 1929, and in the US in Collier's from April to June 1929.
