Description
An offset lithograph after Adolf Sehring’s 1974 painting Summer Daydream. This depicts a young girl, dressed in yellow, leaning against a rough wooden wall, holding a basket of picked flowers. Signed to plate. Sehring (1930-2015), born in Russia to a German art director, moved to the United States in 1949. He became the only American artist to be commissioned by the Vatican to paint the official papal portrait.
Comes with an silver colored frame and printed border. Frame is in good, used condition with light wearing on plex and frame. There is also an light buckle on print. Frame is slightly loose on the bottom left. Frame is approx 18" x 24". Image is approx 18" x 12".
