With bisque head, blue glass eyes, mohair periwig, sitting at painted harpsichord on giltwood base with drawer-activated cylinder movement playing two airs as the young composer nods his head and moves his hands over the keyboard, in velvet tailcoat, silk waistcoat and breeches, height 12 in. (33 cm), working condition but head movement in need of adjustment. - Provenance: Collection of José Mario Armero.

Musik-Puppenautomat "Mozart" von Jean und Anne Farkas, um 1960er Jahre
Parun, Frankreich. Mit Biskuitkopf, blauen Glasaugen, Mohairperücke, Samtfrack, Seidenweste und -kniebund hose im Stil des 18. Jahrhunderts. Mozart sitzt vor einem handbemalten Cembalo auf vergoldetem Holzsockel mit einem durch Öffnen der Schublade ausgelösten Walzenspielwerk für 2 Melodien. Passend zum Klavierspiel beugt er seinen Kopf vor und läßt dazu seine Hände über die Tasten gleiten, während die beiden Melodien nacheinander spielen, Höhe 33 cm, funktioniert, aber die Kopfbewegung bedarf der Regulierung. - Provenienz: Sammlung von José Mario Armero.
