North America, Mexico, ca. 19th century CE. A collection of two matching epaulettes and two matching regimental discs. Each disc features the embroidered eagle perched atop the cactus, symbol of Mexico, while the silver buttons on the epaulettes do as well. The epaulettes are made of flexible silver. They are all contained within an antique heavy paper box. Size of one epaulette: 5.2" W x 11.5" H (13.2 cm x 29.2 cm); size of box: 8.6" W x 3.25" H (21.8 cm x 8.3 cm)

Condition
All have wear commensurate with age, including some fading to the coloring and some fraying/tearing to the fabric. One of the regimental discs is missing the strap that rises from one side.
