This exquisite mirror was made in Tuscany, Italy, in the late-18th century, circa 1790. The frame is carved wood with its original plate and mirror. The top of this piece features floral arrangements in urns with beaded and foliate decoration. In the center there is a painting of a angelic figure on a black background. The sides of the mirror have similar designs with foliage and urns.

This mirror has had a lot of work over it's life. Lot of deterioration of the silver on the mirror. Metal brackets on the back. reinforcing the frame. Some flaking of gilt and many remolded pieces. Overall looks fantastic. Wear consistent with age and use.
