This cotton 20's/30's broken star quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a wonderful variety of pink, lavender, and dusty rose shades and a diamond border. ; It measures a generous 82" X 82" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The quilting is SUPERB, with quilting around the piecework and in elaborate feathered wreath, grid, leaf, and deco cable designs in the background, all at an even 8 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same dusty rose used in the interior, and the batting is thin.
