Fine Chinese 19 Century Famille Rose Enameled Porcelain Vase with a design of shaped windows with a Peacock to one side and Immortals to the reverse all on a rich Turquoise ground with colorful scrolling leaves and flowers, the base in clear glaze with a 4 character Kangxi Mark in double circles all in underglaze blue, now mounted with very fine French Ormolu gilt bronze base and cover, probably as a 19 Century oil lamp, now converted to electricity. Height to below bulb socket 20 inches (50.8 cm.). Height of porcelain 14 1/8 inches (36 cm.). PROVENANCE: Estate of a respected 20th/21st Century New Jersey Chinese Art Collector.
