Description
Chinese Qing Dynasty Biscuit Porcelain well detailed with a mirror Black Glazed Horse & Official Groom with Qing Official Hat, platform base, with a large ruby red Peach on the saddle, base unglazed; together with a pair of blue & white porcelain "Hawthorn Pattern" Vases with white blossoms on a blue water ground in underglaze cobalt, the bases with double ring marks. Width of horse 6 1/4 inches (15.9 cm.). Height of slightly larger vase 7 3/4 inches (19.7 cm.).
Condition
The Horse with left ear missing, chip to back bottom corner of stand, 1 vase with tiny glaze flake under mouth edge.
