Description
An Apache Beaded Hide Slung-Shot Club Provenance: Collected by the current owner's great-great grandfather, Parker Barrows Wickham, who was in charge of dismantling Sitting Bull's cabin in North Dakota for transport to the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. There it was reassembled with the help of Sioux Indians. According to family lore, the Indians gifted several artifacts from Sitting Bull's cabin to Wickham in return for his generosity toward them. Chief Rain-In-The-Face was one of those Sioux Indians. Through the family by descent. Height: 27 inches
