Lot features a partial human skeleton with about 180 bones. Originally used for assistance as a high school teaching aid in the 1960's-70's. These are real bones as shown. The bones have never been articulated and the skull has never been cut as shown. However, as shown there are two extra skull sections that have been. All major bones are present with the exception of two ribs and one radius (forearm) bone. The sternum is broken into two pieces and the xiphoid process has been broken off. In addition to the two skull pieces, there is an extra vertebrae (backbone) and several jawbone pieces. Missing are about two dozen small bones of the hand and feets (mostly phalanges). If you wish the complete the lacking pieces they are available on various sites. The skeleton appears to be mid 19th century feamale. See photos for more details regarding.Â
