Description
A detailed model of a German steel hulled 5-masted ship rigged windjammer, laid down in 1871 and launched in 1873. It was named after the German State Prussia. The largest sailing ship wonder in the late 1800's with a steel hull. Ten years later she collided with a steamer in Crab Bay, Dover. Its remains can be seen in a low springtime tide. A treasure of a ship diorama and a great size for display. It is in very excellent condition with no damage.
