Jack Kerouac's Typewriter Ribbon, From The Last Typewriter He Used to Complete "Vanity of Duluoz"

Jack Kerouac's Personal Smith-Corona Typewriter Ribbon intended for use for the Last Typewriter he used to complete "Vanity of Duluoz", written in 1967 and published in 1968. The ribbon still resides in its original "Carter's Box" box, 2.5" x 4", priced at $.98 and will be accompanied by a photocopy of the cover of the Smith Corona's Operating Handbook, and a copy of the purchase receipt for same. Kerouac's Smith Corona Typewriter was auctioned this past year, having achieved a hefty hammer price

Provenance: The piece will be accompanied by an estate certification signed by John Shen-Sampas, executor of the Kerouac Estate. John Shen-Sampas is the son of John Sampas, who was the brother-in-law of Jack Kerouac, and the brother of Stella Kerouac, Jack's wife
