Description
A mixed group of Egyptian faience objects, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, and includes a pair of Eye of Horus amulets, beads, and bead fragments, as well as a carnelian bead and a turquoise bead of a similar age. Largest 25 mm in length. Ex estate of Maria (Lila) Decatur Mayo Deyo Garnett, niece of Ruth Deyo; Ex collection of Ruth Deyo, acquired early-mid 1900's. Mrs. Deyo was a world-renowned musician and personality, well-known for her appreciation of Egyptian culture.
