Description
Three fine Chinese Yixing Scholar's Teapots: a Qilin shaped teapot based on old bronzes with tiny toe details and tiny bosses around mouth, with the unicorn head forming the cover and impressed seals to stomach and inside cover, a low teapot with scratched design to one side, bull-nose grip to cover and 3 domed feet, impressed seals to base and inside cover, and a "Bamboo" shaped teapot with overhead twisted "bamboo" handle and seals to base and inside cover. Length to first teapot from handle to spout 6 3/4 inches (17 cm.). Length of animal teapot from handle to spout 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.). Height of "bamboo" teapot to top of overhead handle 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.).
Condition
