1930's cotton Marie Webster "May Tulips" quilt, hand appliqued and densely hand quilted with a scalloped edge and off-white unbleached background. It measures 70" X 86" and is in excellent condition, with no spots or wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. The quilting is superb, with close straight line, grid, and clam shell designs quilted throughout at an even 12-14 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are the same off-white fabric used in the background, and the batting is thin.
