DESCRIPTION: A French Vernis Martin design ladies desk. he cylinder retracts when the lower drawer is opened to reveal drawers and a fold out writing surface. The Vernis Martin decoration to the cylinder of a couple in a garden setting is in very good condition. The mahogany on the front fold down is a beautifully figured mahogany.
