Winter Cabin by Harrington Fitzgerald (1847 - 1930) is watercolor on paper depicting a vibrant winter scene of a cabin in the woods. Signed lower left by Fitzgerald. Watercolor is under mat and glass in frame. Dimensions: Approximately 10.5 inches by 14.75 inches. Active in Pennsylvania, Harrington Fitzgerald is known for his landscapes and marine art. Harrington's work has been exhibited throughout the United States and during his tenure, he obtained numerous awards including the gold medal from the American Art Society. Harrington Fitzgerald art can be found in various collections and museums including the Smithsonian, Albright Gallery, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Detroit Institute of Art. He was also a serious art collector.
