Lot of V-Mail letters. On June 15, 1942, the Post Office Department started V-Mail service in which letters to and from members of the Armed Forces overseas were microfilmed for transporting, then printed out for the recipient. Contains 9 V-Mail letters, some mounted on paper and one letter. All to a Mrs. Esther Shanahan from her Son. You are bidding at a live sale, please read the terms and conditions. We are offering contact-less pick ups at our South Brunswick location or shipping. You will be billed for shipping separately. Items will be packed and shipped by our in-house shipping and shipped via USPS unless they are oversized, and they will be taken to the UPS store in Kendall Park, NJ. Please contact the UPS store before bidding on any large frames, etc. to get a quote on shipping, you will also pay them separately and directly. Please check online with USPS on shipping charges to your area using the dimensions provided in the description as shipping charges have gone up considerably. Please keep in mind after we ship that USPS has a high demand for shipping at the moment and shipping may take longer than usual. Shipping will include the actual cost, insurance (this is not negotiable), and an $10 handling fee per item. Handling and shipping fees can be combined. All condition reports are included in the description to the best of our ability.
