Description

An English Victorian Silver Teapot. Rounded lobed sides with organic decoration throughout the body, handle and spout. Cover is formed by an inverted fruit atop leaves. Hallmarked for George John Richards, London, 1848 7" x 11.75" x 7" Wt: 27.45 ozt

Condition

The teapot is in overall good condition. The body of the teapot sustains one small pin dot dent within one of the lobed sections. The spout of the teapot sustains evidence of restoration where the spout meets the body of the teapot. It is not known if this was a crack, but there are solder marks along the spout.
