Classic configuration with round barrel retained by a single large barrel band. Extended stock reaching approximately 3/4 of barrel. Trigger guard with vaguely Germanic style grip behind guard. Left side of stock with bolted on sling ring and cheekpiece. Smooth buttplate. Mixed numbers on parts. Breech with visible evidence from when it was converted to percussion. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel a smooth chocolate brown patina throughout with some pitting at breech from period use. Lock commensurate. Wood with numerous bumps and bruises commensurate with field use, some cracking and lifting of varnish in places.
