Description

Leather Firemen's Helmet and matching parade belt. Nickel front shield with brass gilt, Union "3" Fire Co. Stamped at bottom of shield F. Jahn, Phila. 506 Race St., shield held by Fireman with trumpet. Embossed leather brim stenciled 1858. H.S. Schmidt Co. York, PA makers. Very early repaint with some paint loss. Belt has embossed fireman key holder, "1" and hose buckle. Good condition.
