Title: Last Digger / Free City event, Summer Solstice 1968 Printing Date: 1968 Medium: Lithograph Size/Format: 17½? x 22½?
This original print two sided poster was used for the Summer Solstice in 1968 and offered free music and food. The flip side has a couple photographs and the words Midheaven at the top of the page and Nadir at the bottom. Midheaven is a point of definition in the ecliptic coordinate system. It aims to find the part of the ecliptic that corresponds to the highest point in a celestial object's apparent daily traverse of the visible sky … while Nadir is the term nadir used to represent the lowest point reached by a celestial body during its apparent orbit around a given point of observation.
