Description
Native American, Midwestern United States, Missouri and Illinois, Late Archaic to Woodland periods, ca. 1000 BCE to 1000 CE. A collection of 43 stone tools, all projectile points aside from a knife, made from local chert and found in the Mississippi Valley. The chert includes some beautiful pink examples, and is mainly white. Including points of the styles: Dickson, Klunk, Schild, Cahokia, and Mississippian. Size of largest (knife): 1.25" W x 4.1" H (3.2 cm x 10.4 cm); size of display box: 16.1" W x 12.1" H (40.9 cm x 30.7 cm)
