Victoria Hutson Huntley (1900-1971)

Image size 11 3/4 x 16 1/4" (30 x 40.2 cm).
Victoria Hutson Huntley, born Victoria Ebbles, was raised in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. She attended the New York School of Fine and Applied Art before continuing on to the Art Students League, where she studied with the likes of George Bridgman, George Luks, John Sloan and Max Weber. In the early 1920s she married William Hutson, but went through a divorce just a few years later. She married again in 1933, to Ralph Huntley.
Her lithographs can be found signed Victoria Ebbles, Victoria Hutson, Victoria E. Hutson, and Victoria Hutson Huntley.
Huntley was a prolific printmaker, producing over 85 images over the course of her career. Subjects vary from urban images to country scenes. In the late 1940's she began producing lithographs of Florida, including many great images of the Everglades and the animals who called it home.

Condition
Condition: Generally good condition, has an old light stain and remains of old tape in the upper corners. Soft crease in the upper right margin corner.
