Corn God/ Feathered Serpent Maskette (1200-900 BC)
This mottled green jade maskette features the flame eyebrows of the Feathered Serpent God, and the cleft headdress of the Corn God. There are four conically drilled suspension holes, possibly to attach the mask to a sculpture, and thus deify the figure. The large fracture on the back is unrepaired, and does not go through to the front.
