The heavy die crack at the right reverse is distinctive for the variety, which Winter speculates may have been struck entirely in June 1851. This sun-gold survivor has good eye appeal, but under magnification it has lines on the obverse. The centers are incompletely brought up, as usual for the Dahlonega facility.
