Description

Antique Hexagon Quilt Field of Diamonds c1880, 72in x 83in. The scale is larger than we normally see for this time period at 1.25in along one side of the hexagon. Mostly brown prints set with a double pink path. It is entirely hand pieced and hand quilted to each shape. Thin cotton batting and a natural muslin backing. Double pink applied edging. Condition

In very good condition. No holes, spots, wear, or odors. There is line discoloration down the center on the back that does not come through to the front.
