J. & E. Stevens Company 1890's Cromwell, Connecticut. Operation requires putting a coin in the cannon and depressing the hammer. When the lever is pressed the soldier’s arm goes down as if he’s given the command to fire. Simultaneously, the coin flies through the air and into the tower. Made of Cast Iron. Worked when tested. Overall Fine Condition. The figure is in Very Fine Condition. The tower was broken away from the bank. It was professionally repaired. The top of the grass and the green under the tower has been professionally restored.
