Description
J. & E. Stevens Company 1870's of Cromwell, Connecticut. Open the door so the cashier is facing forward. Place a coin on the tray in his hands and press the knob on the right side of the bank. Quickly, the door will flip around, depositing your coin. Money can also be deposited in a non-mechanical way through a slot in the rear roof of the bank. Made of Cast Iron. This bank looks amazing. Professionally Restored. The door is in original paint (inside and out). Three small roof cracks repaired (very hard to see) near left and right roof screws and on the back side near coin slot. The bank works 80% of the time, but the door can get stuck inside and you have to manually pull it out.
