Loud & Brothers, Philadelphia (Active 1822-1837) Stenciled and Bronze-Molded Mahogany Piano
second quarter 19th century, in the classical taste, of upright form, the projecting top with gadrooned molding and supported by columns with gilt-bronze capitals, centered by a panel in sunburst upholstery, a figural fold-over lid opening to reveal the keyboard, stenciled decor and brass maker's plate, raised on boldly reeded legs with gilt capitals.

Condition
**In "as found" condition. Shrinkage crack to the hinged top lid. Nicks, dings and imperfections to the case. The keyboard section is pulling loose from the case slightly. There is a large open shrinkage crack to the sound board. Some internal hammers and parts are missing or broken. The keyboard has many losses and damage to the keys.
