WWII V Corps Operations in the ETO 1942-45 Book. 6 Jan. 1942-9 May 1945. A RARE restricted history of the V Corps in the European Theater of Operations, including detailed accounts of the V Corps role in landing on Omaha Beach during D-Day. Illustrated with numerous maps and photographs. The contents of this volume were classified as 'secret' or 'top secret' until the end of the war. Copyright: ca 1945. 509 pages. Oversize book. The book appears to have been in the US Army library at one time as evidenced by stamps and a card pocket in the back of the book. Nice readable condition with wear on the covers and some of the cover top spine missing. Look over the Table of Contents picture for the exact information contained within this book.
