Description
Collection of printed and manuscript reports relating to Rochester, New Hampshire, in the 1840s through the 1860s. Includes: manuscript appointment of James Page by Daniel Parson, Justice of the Peace, 1857, on wove, 4to, 2 pp.; manuscript document "to the Selectmen of Rochester" dealing with school vacancies, dated 1851, 4to, 1 pg., ink on laid; and 4 printed "Receipts and Expenditures of the Town of Rochester." For the years 1849, 1853, 1855, and 1863. All stitched pamphlets, with 15, 11, 14, and 24 pp., respectively, rare, 8vo.
Condition
MS documents with creases (as folded) and soiling, printed pamphlets all Good or better with some light foxing and instances of minor soiling. As-is.
